Established the Mining Youth Development Support Council

The Ministry of Mines held its first meeting today (May 28, 2021) to establish the Youth Development Council, which aims to support youth development, social activism and participation in the mineral sector, provide opportunities for youth to grow together, and provide a voice for young people at the decision-making level.

During the meeting, G.Batdorj, Head of the Department of Family, Child and Youth Development, an implementing agency of the Government, and Secretary of the NCC, presented the official approval of the Council.

The council is chaired by O.Batnairamdal, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources, and members of the Youth Development Council, which includes representatives from the Ministry of Natural Resources, Mineral Resources and Mineral Resources, and some other organizations, discussed the council’s plans and future actions.

O.Batnairamdal, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, instructed companies and organizations operating in the sector to establish a Youth Development Sub-Council as soon as possible and intensify cooperation.
